Tong Pak Fu ICY sensation... (*w*)

Whats the first thing that comes to your mind when the word Tong Pak Fu is mention? Is it ice kacang? or maybe Cendol? or something to do with shaved ice kung fu? Well questions do come into mind what is "Tong Pak Fu''? ? ?

Tong Pak Fu is clearly the homophone of Tong Pak Fu (in Cantonese), a famous Ming Dynasty scholar. the name was carefully chosen for these reasons- Fu carries out the connotation of shop, while Tong referes to dessert of "Tong Shui" while Pak symbolises the blooming of different varieties and styles. The combination then brings out the message of "a dessert shop offering myriad of choices"-be it traditional or new flavours.

Tong Pak Fu is also known to be one of Hong Kong's famous desert outlet. Its brain child birth started by two Hong Kong brothers name Ben Li and Man Li, whom learned and improvised the techniques of making Taiwanese shaved ice. Their first outlet opened at Hak Po Street, Mongkok at Hong Kong in 2008.
Thanks to the Hong Kong brothers we are now able to enjoy such delicious dessert, especially our nation is a tropical country. Tong Pak Fu has been expanding through out Asia and finally it reached Malaysia. Now it is available in PENANG!! Yay to us!!! What makes Tong Pak Fu's snow ice stand out from the others due to its natural expects milk mix with 100% freshly squeezed juice and without any artificial flavouring and colouring.

Their best sellers are localised fruits just for the Malaysian market, such as Tracka Durian Snow ice, Guava Snow ice, Ginger Snow ice, Mango Snow ice, and Black Sesame Snow Ice. These are a few of the award winning snow ice! (wow..the durian is a must try if you love durians)
