#DeliverDeeds

It is the holy month of Ramadan where Muslims around the world observe fasting for 30 days. This 30 day journey is about finding inner peace, spiritual enlightenment and recharging the soul to keep it fresh and going for the rest of the year.

This month Malaysia has witnessed several heart breaking incidents.

#1: Homeless issue in KL city center.

#2: We saw how rage and anger affects a person's behavior when a young lady yelled and showed violence to an elderly over an unintentional minor road accident

#3:As war returns to Gaza, it is the children who are frozen in fear

#4: The MH17 shot down that took the lives of 298 people has affected families and friends from all around the world.

It is at times like these that we realized that we have been taking our fortunate lives for granted, thinking that this is the life that we deserve. We ought to be thankful and blessed for we are truly lucky compared to someone less fortunate.

In the spirit of giving and feeling thankful, DeliverEat is taking a step further to build an ecosystem that promotes delivering kindness.

What is #DeliverDeeds?
It is an initiative that promotes doing good. While you are enjoying your juicy chicken drumstick at the comfort of your own homes, have you thought about someone less fortunate who would also love to have a taste of the meal that you are having?

This month DeliverEat launches #DeliverDeeds where you donate and we deliver, so that a less fortunate boy/girl can have a taste of what you enjoyed.

Who are getting the meals from #DeliverDeeds?
Our goal is to bring joy to the less fortunate, the list below are the homes that  benefits from your contribution.

Home 1: Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Anak Islam (Lelaki)
Home 2: Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Anak Islam (Perempuan)

Total persons in these homes are 105 persons including helpers.

Our commitment is ensuring that at least (Home 1:  Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Anak Islam (Lelaki)) will get their meals. Should there be more donors, then it will overflow to Home 2. Should we have more than what is required at Home 1+2 then we will update you guys on Home 3 that will be benefiting from your generous contributions.

What is the minimum contribution amount?

With RM24.50, you will be able to brighten a child's day by buying him a meal.
The meals are preselected after discussing with the homes.
There will be no service charge for #DeliverDeeds. Means with every purchase that you have made, it will be just based on the price of the meals plus government tax if any.
